High Summer

August has been a time of new beginnings for me. I moved to my own little place upcountry which is absolutely a little slice of heaven all to myself. It a quiet and peaceful little place on a large property surrounded by pasture, olive and citrus trees. It was a working farm back in the day and they’re are remnants all around from the old chicken coop to the stables. I have been needing to find a new home like this for quite some time for personal reasons and this truly was a gift. It reminds me of home as I listen to the birds waking up with the morning light. The night is as black as ever dotted with what looks like a million stars. I love that it gets chilly in the morning and at night. It is just the place I needed to reinvigorate my creativity. I included a few snapshots below and little glimpses of a Maui summer.

Hope you are enjoying these glorious summer days,

x
