About Alanna

I am a designer and photographer based in Maui, Hawaii. Originally from the Green Mountains of Vermont, I found a slow and peaceful bit of paradise in Maui to call home.

My work is focused on visual storytelling and seasonal living rooted in nature. Our soulful connection to the natural world is at the heart of my work.

​My first book, The Art of Picnics: Seasonal Entertaining in the Great Outdoors is available now. My second book, The Outdoor Table: Recipes for Living & Eating Well recently released.
