Upcountry Pumpkin Harvest

In the late afternoon I took a quick visit to the local pumpkin patch at Kula Country Farm. The farm overlooks the South Side and the West Maui Mountains. Nestled in a small valley, the field was overflowing with so many beautiful autumn colors. It may seem kind of childish or naive, but part of me is craving the autumnal traditions. The farm prides itself with their diverse variety of pumpkins. Some of the colors were wonderful palette inspirations.

Love this color palette! The pink porcelain pumpkins paired with the gorgeous color of the upcountry olive trees.

For just a tiny bit, I felt like it was autumn! It made me want to head right home and curl up with a warm soup and book.
The gardens were still glowing from the summer season. The last bit of the flowers were holding on to their drooping blooms.

It left me smiling even if that seems silly. My eyes and soul needed to see and feel the change in season and it was just what I needed.
